We live in a difficult time when acceptance, positivity, and unconditional support are hard to come by. Too many people have a tendency to brush off others' problems without really listening to them. People say “Suck it up," or "Get over it,” leaving those who just need to be heard and validated, confused and feeling like failures. You do not have to suffer on your own or feel rejected. There is no shame in seeking an unbiased, supportive ear to assist you in solving problems. My job is to help you use your own natural strengths and assist you in learning new skills, to overcome those challenges and struggles that feel impossible to solve. 

As a therapist, I create a supportive environment by first learning about you and getting to know you as a person. With me, you are not just another client. I strongly believe it is important to get to know who you are first and build a trusting environment. Everyone has unique life experiences and beliefs. By understanding you, we can create a uniquely personalized plan of action to help you move forward. As I learn about your triumphs and challenges, we will create an adaptive plan and learn new skills, creating a tool belt of various coping strategies and problem-solving methods.
